I’ve always been a summer girl, but fall is really special for Auntie Bec’s and when it all began 2 years ago. I realize not everyone is aware of the journey of ABB so wanted to share some history and pictures. Enjoy!
I met Katie when she and her daughter were running Threads for Teens-MN. I brought several of my teenage clients down to Shakopee to get some clothes. Over my many visits, I developed a relationship with Katie.
I reached out to her early fall 2021 to inquire about a shopping appointment. She told me she didn’t think she could do it anymore and was hoping that someone would take it over.
There was a little voice in my head saying, “I could do that…”
These pictures were taken in October and November 2021.
Many hours, boxes, packing tape, sore muscles, trips to and from Shakopee, a very large moving truck and one very skilled and understanding husband later and we were on our way!
Looking back, that was the easy part!
